Whitestone Collection
The 2022 Whitestone Reserve by Capelands Estate is an exquisite blend of primarily Chenin Blanc, enriched with 10% Chardonnay and 10% Viognier. Crafted from hand-picked, naturally fertilized grapes and cold-fermented, this wine matures for nine months in French oak barrels, revealing a complex profile with captivating notes of hazelnut, peach, and honey. Its well-balanced palate offers remarkable freshness and length.
The 2022 Capelands Estate Sauvignon Blanc, from South Africa's Western Cape, is a premium selection of the finest grapes. It undergoes a unique 4-month leaf contact process, resulting in a lively and light-bodied wine with exotic notes of grenadilla, cut grass, and asparagus. Capelands CR1 Malbec Special Reserve 2020 hails from a prestigious wine-growing region, crafted from dryland vineyards with low-yield, mature vines. This exceptional wine offers delicate flavours of cassis, blueberries, and violets on the nose, while the palate harmoniously combines black and blue fruits with notes of dark berries, spices, and minerals.
Capelands CR1 Redstone 2019 thrives in our unique microclimate, resulting in a fresh, mineral-driven, and powerful character. Aged for 30 months in partly new French oak, it reveals a symphony of wild berries, cherries, cassis, cedar, roses, and underwood nuances. On the palate, it's impeccably balanced with a full, velvety body and a lasting, silky finish. Its aging potential exceeds a decade, promising lasting excellence.
Nestled on Heldeberg's ocean-facing slopes in Somerset West, this 3-hectare dry-land vineyard features 17-year-old vines within Stellenbosch's prestigious region. Aged for 30 months in French oak barrels, it unveils a vibrant bouquet of wild berries, plum, cassis, cedar, licoricey, and roses, followed by a palate brimming with red berries, cassis, and plum flavours.
