The special microclimate in South Africa gives this wine a fresh, mineral, elegant and powerful character. It also has subtle rose, plum, raspberry, spice and undergrowth aromas.

  • 3 ha Ocean facing 20 years old dry land vineyard, overlooking the False Bay in Somerset
West, Stellenbosch Wine Region, South Africa.
Incredibly special microclimate grows the grapes perfectly ripe, but not overripe, giving so
to Cr1 Redstone a fresh, mineral, elegant and powerful character. Developed for 30
months in partly new French oak barrels, the wine expresses notes of wild berries, cherries,
cassis, cedar, rose and underwood flavors. On the palate CR1 Redstone 2018 delivers a
perfect balance with a full body and a long, silky aftertaste. Aging potential for over a
    decade.
