28.02.2011 Piano Evening with Monica Gutman
Monica Gutman was born in Romania, where she performed in concerts and on television from the age of ten. With the aid of a grant she later studied in Germany, France and England. She has already performed on illustrious platforms, including the Ludwigsburg Castle Festival, the Kissinger Summer Festival, Frankfurt Old Opera House, Munich Philharmonic Gasteig, the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, as well as at the Berliner Schauspielhaus and others.

John Platter 5 star launch
The 2011 green 31st edition of the John Platter guide was launched the 16th Nov 2010 at the Capelands Restaurant. A record 58 wines made the 5-star cut, including 10 first time 5 star winners. Over 200 people of the wine world attended the event.

'I could die with this wine; it sings to me!', declaimed Johann, who has brought a rare passion, talent and skill for fine wine and dining to this breathtaking new country venue. Gary Hendrickse did classical piano studies at UCT as well as jazz studies with the Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA.
He has performed for a countless number of high profiled functions. These include dinners hosted for Nelson Mandela, Thabo Mbeki, President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and also many corporate functions for national and multinational corporations.

With this New Years Eve event we shall be hosting a Wurlitzer Jukebox evening with famous music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

It is our pleasure to announce this live music event on the 4th December 2009 with Kim at Capelands Estate. Kim Lana Kasimov has a passion for music and the performing arts and has been singing with a jazz band on a cruise liner in the past.
Kim will be performing on the evening of the restaurant opening on the 4th December, as well as on the 5th, 11th, 12th, and 14th December 2009.
